KYB is the company check Fiatswaps runs before it issues a business recipient's virtual bank account. You submit it yourself, from the company's own documents, at the end of adding the recipient: business information on one screen, three documents on the next.
1. Business information
Every field is required. Use the legal name and registration details exactly as they appear on the company's formation document:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Legal entity name | The company's registered name, as shown on the formation document |
| Company type | Limited Liability Company (LLC), Corporation, Partnership, Sole Proprietorship, Limited Partnership (LP), Public Limited Company (PLC), or Other |
| Date of formation | The date the company was formed. A future date is rejected |
| Company registration number | Also called the company number, registry number or UID, depending on the jurisdiction |
| Registered business address | Street and number, city, postcode / ZIP and country, as held on the company registry. Not a P.O. box |
| Description of business activities | What the company actually does, in at least 30 characters |
| Expected monthly transaction volume | The bracket you expect this account to receive each month |
The company you enter is the one the platform names on its payout receipt. If you are not sure which entity that is, see whose name to use. The expected monthly transaction volume is an estimate, not a cap being set on the account: there is no monthly volume limit.
Note: The country is the company's country of registration, not yours. Check it against the supported countries list before you start, because a country Fiatswaps cannot onboard is flagged here and blocks the form.

2. Documents
Three documents are required, and Submit for review stays disabled until all three are attached:
| Document | What counts |
|---|---|
| Business Formation Document | Certificate of Incorporation, Articles of Association, or equivalent |
| Company Shareholder and Directors Registry | The list of current shareholders and directors, with ownership percentages |
| Proof of Business Address | A utility bill, lease agreement or bank statement less than three months old |
Upload each one as a PDF, PNG or JPG file of up to 10 MB. Click a box to choose a file or drag the file onto it.
Note: The proof of business address is the company's own address document. It is separate from the proof of address an individual recipient uploads during KYC.
3. Submit the file for review
Once all three documents are attached, send the file:
- Click Submit for review.
- You land on a confirmation screen telling you the file is under review.
- Wait for the email. Fiatswaps emails the workspace owner when the recipient's virtual bank account is available.
Nothing is asked of the business itself at any point, and there is nothing to resubmit unless you are asked for it. Track the recipient from the Recipients list in the meantime.
Next: Once the account is issued, give the platform the right details. EUR IBAN or USD SWIFT →
