A USDC-to-EUR payout pays euros into a bank account you have registered, in exchange for USDC sent from a recipient's USDC wallet. It runs in the opposite direction to a swap and carries the same flat 2% fee.
If you have not registered an account yet, add a withdrawal bank account first. A payout has nowhere to go without one.
1. Open the Off-ramp tab
The off-ramp sits on the recipient whose USDC is being sent:
- Go to My Recipients and open the recipient.
- Select the Off-ramp tab.
- Check that the account you want paid appears as the Linked bank.
Note: If the recipient has no Off-ramp tab, off-ramp is not switched on for your workspace yet. Contact Fiatswaps support and we will enable it.
2. Send the USDC on Base
Sending USDC to the withdrawal address is what starts the payout:
- Under Withdraw EUR, open the withdrawal modal.
- Click Copy withdrawal address, or scan the QR code shown next to it.
- Send USDC on the Base network from the recipient's USDC wallet.
Warning: Send only USDC on Base to this address. A different token, or USDC on a different network, is lost. Fiatswaps cannot recover it.
3. Receiving the euros
Euros are paid into the linked bank account once the USDC arrives. What lands is the USDC received less the flat 2%, converted at the rate used for the payout, with no second charge after it.
The bank leg runs over SEPA, so when the money appears depends on the receiving bank. That part sits outside Fiatswaps and is not something we can speed up.
4. What a payout will not do
Four limits are worth knowing before you start:
- Euros only. A payout pays a euro account reachable over SEPA. There is no USD off-ramp.
- USDC on Base only. No other token and no other network is accepted at the withdrawal address.
- Approved accounts only. A withdrawal bank account has to show as Active before it can be selected.
- One account per payout. If more than one account is active, the payout goes to the one shown as the Linked bank.
